Recently, Shenzhen Pengxin Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SHINHOP Group, successfully held the launch conference for the 46 series large cylindrical fully automatic assembly line in the Fujian Zhongke Zhigu, attracting widespread attention. Zhang Zechun, a director of SHINHOP Group, and Li Boping, the technical director of Pengxin Intelligent, attended the conference and discussed cutting-edge technology and market applications of the 4680 with industry elites on site.

General Manager Li of Pengxin Intelligent stated that since September 22, 2020, when Musk announced the third-generation 4680 battery cell at Tesla's Battery Day, the high cost-performance, high safety, and good fast-charging capabilities of the 4680 have sparked a global craze. Compared to the 2170, the 4680 has a diameter more than twice as large, a capacity increase of 5 times, a range increase of 16%, and a power increase of 6 times.

General Manager Li pointed out that Pengxin Intelligent has fully opened up the production path for mass production of large cylindrical tabless batteries. Currently, the independently developed high-speed intelligent production line can achieve a maximum capacity of 150 PPM, including fully automatic loading and unloading, busbar welding, encapsulation, casing, pole welding, sealing welding, multifunctional testing, and other processes. It can quickly complete the assembly and welding production process of cylindrical battery cells, with overall standardized and modular design of the equipment, simple changeover, and reduced costs. It can also independently complete solution design, automation equipment development, and full factory solutions for battery production and manufacturing according to customer needs.
