All of these functions are the responsibility of the battery cap, with the most important role being to prevent excessive battery pressure and to allow for timely venting. The 18650 lithium battery cap includes 1. Steel cap; 2. Connecting piece; 3. Explosion-proof piece; 4. Aluminum ring; 5. Inner ring; 6. Rolled edge; 7. Insulation sealing ring; 8. Vent hole; 9. Breather hole; 10. Terminal; 11. Groove; 12. Buffer chamber.
Among them, the connection and explosion-proof pieces need to be welded with laser, which involves the number of welding points required by the user. Some manufacturers require four welding points, while others may require six or eight points. In fact, they are all laser pulse welding!
