The cooling system of the laser welding machine is an essential component of laser processing equipment. If the cooling system fails, the temperature of the laser welding machine components will significantly rise, which not only affects the operation of the laser welding software system but also impacts the performance of the hardware, and may even burn out the hard components of the laser processing equipment, leading to system failure.
Currently, the cooling systems used for laser welding machines include water cooling systems, air cooling systems, and integrated systems that combine water cooling and air cooling. Among these, the water cooling system is the most common, so let's focus on the principles of the laser welding machine's water cooling system!
1. The chiller uses pure water or deionized water, which is more conducive for the pump light source to directly enter the laser material, producing better laser modes.
2. The laser welding machine's chiller generally has a filter that effectively filters out obvious particulate impurities in the water, keeping the laser pump chamber clean and preventing the possibility of water blockage.
3. The chiller uses imported compressors, and the water tank and water pump are made of stainless steel. The heat transfer coils are also made of stainless steel, which can fully ensure the stable operation of the chiller, with excellent cooling effects, achieving a temperature accuracy within 1°C. The smaller the controlled temperature, the less the laser is affected by temperature; however, we recommend adjusting the temperature difference to around 1 degree.
4. The laser welding machine's chiller is generally equipped with a water pressure gauge, allowing for a clear understanding of the water pressure in the laser water circuit.
5. The chiller has flow protection; when the water flow is less than the set value, an alarm signal can be triggered to protect the laser and related heat-dissipating components.
6. The laser welding machine's chiller is generally powered by 220V household electricity, rather than 380V three-phase electricity, which is more beneficial for the versatility of the equipment.
8. There is also a water level alarm.
9. The chiller also has a series of adjustment functions, such as temperature adjustment and temperature difference adjustment.
10. The laser welding machine's chiller has temperature protection; if the temperature is not suitable, an alarm signal will also be triggered.
