1. Assembly Process

Cell Sorting and Pairing

First, numerous lithium-ion cells undergo rigorous performance testing, including measurements of parameters such as capacity, internal resistance, and voltage. Based on the test results, cells with similar performance are precisely paired to ensure consistent cells within each battery pack, which is essential for ensuring the stability of the overall battery pack performance.

Module Assembly

The paired cells are assembled into modules. Advanced welding techniques, such as laser welding or ultrasonic welding, are used to ensure secure, safe, and reliable cell connections. During the module assembly process, battery management system (BMS) components, such as temperature sensors and voltage acquisition cables, are integrated to ensure effective battery pack management and monitoring.

Casing Packaging

Based on the battery pack design requirements, an appropriate casing material, such as aluminum alloy or high-strength plastic, is selected. The assembled cell modules are precisely placed into the casing and sealed. During the packaging process, the casing's protective properties, including water resistance, dust resistance, and impact resistance, must be ensured.

Electrical Performance Testing and Debugging

The packaged battery pack undergoes comprehensive electrical performance testing, including charge and discharge tests, short-circuit tests, and overcharge and over-discharge protection tests. Based on the test results, the battery pack's battery management system (BMS) is debugged to optimize performance and ensure safe and stable operation under various operating conditions.
